Chorus

Andrew Gibb-Clark - Teacher

The purposes of the program are to teach students how to read music, sing in parts, clap rhythms, and work as a team for concerts and contests. All students in grades seven and eight with a desire to sing and the self-discipline to attend class and participate may belong to the chorus. The chorus performs at public concerts during the year, in addition to various school assemblies. They also travel to an Illinois Grade School Music Association Organizational Contest each spring, where they are rated by a panel of judges.
